The Panch Pokhari trek,
which means five lakes, is situated to the north of
Kathmandu. This area is in the Lantang National Park and
contains a surprising amount of forests and wildlife.
From this area you can gain really good views Jugal
Himal which is popularly known as “the chain of peaks”
including Dorge Lakpa (6966m), Madiya (6257m) and Phurbi
Chhyachu (6637m).
Panch pokhari trekking offers an ideal and interesting
journey which gives the experience of lifetime. Panch
Pokhari is a religious place for Hindus where the
trekkers can see a sheet metal enclosed shrine to Shiva
and the two metal roofed houses. A trek in this area
involves a lot of climbing on narrow trails.
