Shivapuri trekking
provides an excellent opportunity to see the fine
scenery of Shivapuri watershed and its ever green
forests. The trek offers panoramic views of Annapurna,
Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang and Jugal. This trek is
a very popular short trek for those people who don’t
have much time in Nepal. This trek offers fine scenery
from pine forests to lush tropical jungle and
rhododendron forests. It passes by Nagarkot which is
known as one of the best places in the valley to get
inspiring sunset and sunrise mountain views. It also
gives the trekker a chance to experience the local
culture and rural way of life. Along the way this trail
passes some of the oldest temples and buildings in
Nepal, thus creating an all-round trek to the best out
of a short stay in Nepal.
